Aaron Rodgers could have this NCAA superstar as weapon, analyst says

The New York Jets are making headlines with their aggressive moves in the offseason in order to give more weapons to their star QB Aaron Rodgers. According to a top NFL analyst, the Jets are projected to trade up and secure the top wide receiver prospect in the 2024 Draft, Marvin Harrison Jr.

The Jets have been on a signing spree, adding significant talent to their roster. They’ve already signed eight-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Tyron Smith and two-time 1,000-yard wide receiver Mike Williams. Additionally, they brought back offensive tackle Morgan Moses via a trade with the Baltimore Ravens. These moves indicate that the Jets are serious about fortifying their team.

With veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers approaching his 40/41 season, the Jets are clearly in win-now mode. This mindset is reflected in their aggressive roster improvements. In line with this strategy, NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah’s latest mock draft has the Jets making a bold move by trading up to the No. 5 spot to select Marvin Harrison Jr. from Ohio State.

Jeremiah explains, “The Jets are all-in with a veteran quarterback and they recently acquired two offensive tackles to shore up the O-line. They desperately need another playmaker in the passing game to complement Garrett Wilson, so they trade up to select Harrison, the top receiver in the draft and Wilson’s former Ohio State teammate.”

Harrison is the best WR in the upcoming Draft
Marvin Harrison Jr. is highly regarded as the best wide receiver in the draft. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 205 pounds, he had an impressive college football career, amassing 67 receptions for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns in his final season. The year before, he recorded 77 catches for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns. His track record makes him an attractive prospect for the Jets as they look to bolster their offense.
