Donald Trump has hit out at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as he accused the couple of “breaking the Queen’s heart” and said they showed “great disrespect” to the monarch
Donald Trump has criticised Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, accusing them of causing heartbreak to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The former US President claimed the couple “broke Elizabeth’s heart”, adding: “I think they hurt her really bad.” He said: ” I think there was great disrespect to a person I got to know very well and like; the Queen. She was unbelievable you know.”
In a chat with Nigel Farage on GB News, Trump shared: “I got to know her very well. Remember, I was supposed to be with her for 10 to 15 minutes, and we ended up being together for two hours.”
He went on to say: ” I thought she was treated very disrespectful by them. Although she wouldn’t show it because she was strong and smart, but I would imagine they broke her heart. The things that they were saying was so bad and so horrible and she was in her 90s and hearing this stuff. I think they broke her heart. I think they hurt her really bad.”, reports the Mirror US.
Trump also had words of praise for the late Queen, stating she “never made a mistake” during her reign. He told Farage: ” I thought the Queen was incredible think of it all those years 75 years she’s almost never made a mistake.”
